Our Baseball Academy is a unique opportunity for our Little League players. Instead of directing our talent to local baseball schools for instruction, we bring the instruction to our fields. By running these clinics locally we have the ability to make them more available and affordable to our players. CLL's Baseball Academy runs pre-season hitting, pitching, and catching clinics as well as Winter programs to allow our players to continue year round. Fall/Winter Clinics
Its the offseason for us at CLL but we are still working hard to provide the best for our program. We are excited to announce that our academy will again be hosting low-cost clinics at our Blue Mountain facility during the fall and winter months.
Professional Development (paid clinics)
Brent Crowther, former professional baseball player in the Colorado Rockies system, long time instructor in the Big league Experience and owner of The Dugout Baseball Training facility will once again provide various clinics for Coquitlam Little League players. Brent is joined by Bruce Biro current assistant coach of Douglas College and Stosh Wawarasek pitcher in the Milwaukee Brewers Single A farm team.
Off season training is the time of year when baseball players of all ages work on their hitting and pitching/throwing mechanics. Brent and his staff will provide 3 types of programs, hitting only, pitching/throwing mechanics only and combo hitting/pitching/throwing mechanics each for 6 weeks.

CLL Coaching (free clinics)
10 year olds - Players turning 10 after May 1, 2012
Coaches from last season’s 9 year old select team will be opening blue mountain cage working on developing hitting & pitching with those players turning 10 before May 1, 2012. No cost or commitment required.
Players/Parents interested in attending must e-mail Sukh Cheema at SCheema@samuel.com before each Sunday as space is limited. Though CLL strives to never turn players away there is limited space for training in the cage and if a player shows up unannounced there may not be space if there are too many players attending. What we don’t want is kids standing too long and waiting to hit or throw as this will not be a good experience.
If you are having issues connecting with Sukh please e-mail Mark Colligan CLL Coach & Player Development Executive at colligan1432@shaw.ca
Days: Sundays
Time: 11am – 1pm
Location: Blue Mountain Cage - corner of King Albert Avenue and Blue Mountain Street
Equipment: Bring runners (cleats not needed), glove, bat & helmet. Wear loose warm clothes as the facility is not heated
Please check website prior to attending in case a session has to be cancelled as it may be difficult to e-mail everyone attending.
