This is a defining moment in CLL's regular season, as it brings together 3 divisions of players for a fun filled, action packed weekend. The Mid-Season Classic marks the "half-way-ish" point of the Junior regular season schedule, an important date to note because after the tournament we move the pitching mound and bases to Major League standards! For the first half of the regular season our Juniors play at the 54'/80' configuration, and the second half is played at 60.5'/90'... providing a whole new look to our game. The Classic is also an important tournament in the AAA schedule, because it provides our 12 year olds with experience on the big diamond they will be playing on in their next season. The tournament brings together the 13 year old rookies at Blue Mountain, with the 12 year olds from Mackin to play in a 4 or 5 team tournament, all to be coached by our 17/18 year old Big League team! Every year this tournament is a HUGE hit with all of our players... so be sure to circle May 14th - May 17th on your calendar. |

Our own Big League A's will be coaching this tournament, however due to their busy schedule we have not assigned coaches to teams just yet. Check back soon for info on your team's coach. |

| Congratulations to the Blue Jays for going undefeated in the 2010 Mid-Season Classic at Blue Mountain Park. They completed the sweep Monday night in a long 7 inning game, narrowly defeating the Yankees 12-11. Great job this weekend to all the players involved and a BIG thank you to the Big League Squad for trying out their coaching skills. |
