The 11 Selects had a great Long Weekend at the 1st Annual Highlands Little League 11's Tournament. Whalley beat them 5-2 in the final round robin game to decide which team went to the Championship and which would play for third. Coquitlam went on to defeat Mount Seymour 7-4 to take third place. The skills competition was a true team challenge where each player could only compete in one event and the boys captured second place out of the ten teams. The throwing relay team of AJ Mykietyn, Danny Panozzo, Troy Daguiar and Mike Pais came 3rd. The home run team of Jake Calvin, Ben Glassco, Austin Smith and Tarhiqe Rendall came 2nd with Jake Calvin hitting 4 to tie for most individual home runs. The running relay team had to run the bases 10 times with only three runners while other teams had 4 or 5 but Jonah Lee, Terrell Smith and Jack Varney still came 4th.
