In August 2011, Langley Little League won the Canadian champions and represented Canada at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They were scheduled to play Uganda - the first Africa team advanced to the World Series - for their first game. That would have been an historic moment for Africa. However, just two weeks before that game was to take place, Uganda's request for visas was denied by the U.S. State Department. Hearts were broken and the dreams of Uganda's players and coaches crushed.
But now the game will go on with your help. Team Canada is fundraising for traveling to Uganda for Canada-Uganda Challenge from January 15-21, 2012. For donation and more information, please visit: http://righttoplay.akaraisin.com/youthbaseball
You can also support Team Canada via Caseland Wireless by purchasing an iPhone/Blackberry case with Canada-Uganda Challenge logo. These cases are available at their online store. The sales price will be donated to the Canada-Uganda Challenge. For more details, please visit www.caseland.ca.
Special gift for you, your family and your friends, special love to Team Canada.
Thank you for your support! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
