Coquitlam boasts a record of success, and being able to maintain our success depends upon parent involvement throughout the season. As we put in countless hours of coaching and training your son or daughter we ask for your help where ever possible. To help alleviate some of the workload we place on our board members, coaches and grounds crew we ask that you volunteer for duties when available. Field duties are specific to each diamond, so a detailed list can be found below. |
| The first thing you will notice when you arrive at either Mackin Yard or Blue Mountain Park aside from the beautiful diamonds we have to play on is the full service, fully stocked concession stands. These stands are a MAJOR source of income for Coquitlam Little League and in order to keep our registration costs low we require that our concessions be open for every game being played at our parks. To do so requires 2 parent volunteers every game. More information on sign-up possibilities can be found with your team's Manager or team parent. |

| Finally, we would like you to understand that we are a community based organization, and our sole purpose is to bring baseball into the lives of Coquitlam's youth. We teach fair-play and sportsmanship and we make everyone a part of a team. We welcome you as parents onto our CLL team, but we ask that you also play by the rules. Keep in mind when at the park, we are dealing with children and teens not professional athletes. CLL has adopted a zero-tolerance policy for verbal-abuse of our umpires and coaches. Please keep it in mind, YOU were asked to become a coach, and YOU had the opportunity to register as an umpire. These young men and women are doing their best, and as a CLL family we need to support them 110%.
Please review, sign and submit a Parental Code of Conduct form with your son or daughter's registration. A .pdf version of the form can be downloaded here. |
