Fall Ball 2021

The 2021 Coquitlam Little League (CLL) Fall Ball Programs have been designed to offer competitive and development opportunities. In the continuously changing environment, our top priority is player safety and all covid related protocols recommended by Baseball BC and Little League BC will be followed. The number of teams per division will be based on a number of things, including coaches/volunteer availability, and following team sizes/ratios that allow for an effective experience.

Seniors (15, 16, 17 & 18 Year Old 2022 Playing Age)

*Must register before Sept 5th to get a Fall Ball T Shirt
The Senior Fall Ball Program is focused on further advancing baseball skills such as; leadoffs, pickoffs, stealing, fielding and hitting. Weekly games give players the chance to practice their skills worked on during practices. Depending on the registration numbers and skill of players, the division may be split into a competitive division that focuses on game play and a developmental division that focuses on skill development.

Juniors (13 & 14 Year Old 2022 Playing Age)

*Registration Closed
The Junior Fall Ball Program is based on taking the players from Majors and preparing them for Intermediate/Junior baseball, along with further developing the players from last year’s Juniors. The program is based on the introduction to the larger field dimensions, along with a number of new skills required such as; leadoffs, pickoffs, stealing, defensive and offensive strategies. Weekly games give players the chance to practice their skills worked on during practices. Depending on the registration numbers and skill of players, the division may be split into a competitive division that focuses on game play and a developmental division that focuses on skill development.

Commitment to Fall Ball

It is understood that this ball season is also during a time of year when other sports for these athletes become a priority, and we as a league support multi-sport athletes. In the competitive streams we expect all players to attend most practices and games, with the developmental stream having more flexibility around attendance. Please keep this in mind when registering and accepting a position on a team. As always if a player cannot commit to certain practices or games please discuss the situation with the team manager at the beginning of the season.
